ORIGINS
It didn’t start with a van.
ROHM may be new, but the idea behind it has been more than twenty years in the making.
We’re Bruce and Shannon. We met in 2003 and almost immediately started our first business together—a small Vermont graphics company called DVC Graphics. We focused heavily on vehicle graphics and trailer wraps, learning the business from the ground up: design, production, installation, materials, and all the little things that make graphics actually work on a vehicle.
Within a few years, that experience led us somewhere we never expected.
We invented the Sled Wrap.
Around 2006, while DVC was growing and merging with a larger wholesale print operation, we were working on an entirely new idea.
What if, instead of traditional graphics or a complicated full wrap, we designed a decal kit similar to a dirt bike graphic kit with pieces that transform an entire snowmobile—and made it something the customer could install themselves?
We launched Sledwraps.com, introduced the product, and spent those early years establishing a name for it: the sled wrap.
What started as our idea became an entire industry.
For the next 12 years, through Sledwraps.com and Deviant Ink, we helped build and lead that market. We continually pushed for more coverage, better design flow, easier installation and new products. We experimented, innovated, made mistakes, solved problems and learned an enormous amount about creating vehicle graphics for people who want to make something their own.
Eventually, sled wraps became bigger than us. Competitors arrived, the market expanded, and the term we created became the common name for the product itself.
We’re pretty proud of that.
Then we went somewhere completely different.
Around 2018, one of our customers approached us about purchasing Sledwraps and Deviant Ink.
With two growing kids and an openness to whatever might come next, we said yes.
There was just one problem:
We had absolutely no idea what came next.
Somewhere in that transition, we impulsively bought our first van/minibus. We didn’t really know why we needed that either.
Then the world changed.
A few years later, our family found itself driving from our home in Vermont all the way to Belize, where we’d become part of a group of friends communally purchasing land. We lived on the road, crossed borders, explored places we’d never seen and experienced travel very differently from taking a vacation.
Then we came home, bought a bigger bus...
and did it again.
Those trips gave our kids an incredible experience, but they changed us too.
There was something about carrying what you needed with you, waking up somewhere new and realizing just how big the world actually is. Vanlife, overlanding, road travel—whatever you want to call it—we’d discovered a little loophole in conventional life.
A way to feel a bit more free and limitless.
Then came a blank Sprinter.
Eventually our son decided he wanted to attend high school back home in Vermont, and life changed again.
So naturally...
we bought another van.
This time it was a Sprinter.
After staring at that big blank canvas for a few weeks, Bruce had a thought:
“Wrapping this thing is a ton of work. Why not create a decal kit for it?”
We’d been here before.
The conversations started. Then the sketches. Then research, templates, prototypes, software and a realization that this idea could become something much bigger.
We decided to get back into the decal business.
Only this time, we brought twenty years of experience—and a completely different perspective—with us.
We spent the next three years developing the templates, technology, production system and online Studio that would become ROHM.
Not a wrap. An Allover.
One challenge kept coming up as we developed ROHM: What do we call this?
Technically, these aren’t wraps.
A traditional vehicle wrap generally uses large sheets of vinyl to cover entire body panels. ROHM uses individually designed and precision-cut printed decals that work together across the vehicle.
It’s much easier to install. It uses less material. It takes a fraction of the time. And individual pieces can be replaced without replacing an entire wrapped panel.
But visually, it can accomplish something traditional decals rarely could: a design flowing all over the vehicle.
That’s where ALLOVER came from.
The printing and garment industries have long used “all-over print” to describe artwork extending throughout a product. It made sense here too.
Allover Decals. Allovers.
We’re intentionally putting the term out into the world without restrictions. If other designers, manufacturers and graphics companies begin creating this type of product, we encourage them to use it.
We’re not trying to replace vehicle wraps. Wraps have their place.
We simply believe Allovers are a new category—one that can make large-scale vehicle customization more accessible to individual adventurers, businesses, fleets and brands.
And we intend to help move that category forward.
Built for what’s next.
Today, we’re back home in Vermont with our two kids, Knox and Inza, building something together again.
ROHM brings together a lot of seemingly unrelated chapters of our lives: design, vehicle graphics, building a new product category, entrepreneurship, travel, vans, technology and the desire to keep exploring what’s possible.
We’re building ROHM for the individual who wants their van to feel like theirs.
For the traveler whose vehicle becomes part transportation, part home and part identity.
And we’re building a platform with much bigger possibilities—for van builders, upfitters, commercial fleets, manufacturers and brands looking for a new way to approach vehicle graphics.

The intention behind it.
We’ve always believed that what you put into something matters.
There’s been a lot of positive energy, intention and care put into ROHM—into the technology, the artwork, the product and the experience of creating something that’s uniquely yours.
And we like the idea that every design created in the ROHM Studio carries a little of the intention of the person who created it wherever it goes next.
More roads. More experiences. More freedom. More possibility.
From our family to yours, we wish you an Allover Endless Adventure.
